ABOUT US

Welcome to the Good Shepherd Social Justice Network's Trafficking in Persons Clearinghouse.

This clearinghouse aims to be a central access point for information on the global problem of trafficking in persons. Specifically, the clearinghouse aims to promote avid conversation on trafficking in persons and related issues through the provision of:

  • published and unpublished resources, including both print and audio-visual materials;
  • information regarding projects aimed at combating trafficking in persons;
  • information regarding recent news and upcoming events; and
  • links to other national and international websites and resources.

'We believe trafficking to be exploitation and violence against women of the most intense and ongoing nature.

It is an underground industry and one of international significance. Our work is informed by our International Good Shepherd links and partnerships, including our UN connections, other NGO's, religious congregations, and our international Peace Commision'

See our website at: www.goodshepherd.com.au/justice/

Due to the origins of the project in Melbourne,Australia, the site features substantial information on trafficking within, and initiatives aimed at eliminating, trafficking in persons in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
