Conference name tags

These beautiful name tags have been made by young women at the Good Shepherd Drop in Centre in Cebu, Philippines, many of whom have been trafficked from other islands into the sex trade. The name tags are worn around the neck. When not being used as a name tag, the beads can be detached and worn as a necklace. By purchasing these name tags for your conference you are helping to change the lives of these young women. A lead time of two months is advisable. The product is $2.50 per name tag for orders of 50 or less but only $2 each for orders of more than 50.

The Good Shepherd centre in Cebu offers support to young women, many of them minors, who have been lured to Cebu City by recruiters offering jobs. Most come from north Mindanao. In Cebu, they are brought directly to brothels. The making of conference name tags that can also be used as necklaces, is a project that is offering some of the young women a chance to begin freeing themselves from the need to be involved in the sex trade.
