We are currently working in:
We are committed to the Good Shepherd tradition of compassion and reconciliation, and we are convinced of the continuing importance of this gift to the world. We work with our mission partners to promote fullness of life to each person we meet; we walk with those who are left behind by the society of our time. We are inspired by the story of Jesus, the Good Shepherd who calls each person to fullness of life.
Importantly, we (the Sisters) play a vital part in handing on the story, and the mission, to those who continue the work today. We (The Sisters) do this by actively living and telling the Good Shepherd story and mentoring our mission partners. One particular way is through the Sisters’ Speakers Bank.
We elect a new Province Leadership Team every six years to look after mission needs and the Sisters of the province. We do this partnership with the Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand Board, as outlined in the Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand Strategic Plan.
